LeBron Raymone James Sr., born December 30, 1984 is an American professional basket ball player, who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). King James is widely regarded as one of basketball's greatest players. He's often compared with Michael Jordan when discussing the most well-known player. James has been the recipient of four NBA Championships and Four NBA MVP Awards and the four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He has also won 2 Olympic gold medals. James is second in most career goals and seventh most assists. He has been selected for the NBA All Star team 18 times. This is an NBA record that he's been an NBA All-Star for 18 years. He was the third player to compete in NBA Finals. Eight of those were consecutive from 2011 to 2018. James was chosen to be a member of the 75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022 he became first NBA player to ever score 10,000 or higher career points. James played basketball with St. Vincent St. Mary High School in his hometown of Akron Ohio and was heavily in the news media for his potential as an NBA star. The Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the top pick in the NBA draft in 2003. In 2004 he was named NBA Rookie. Then, he quickly established himself as one of the top league athletes, winning the NBA MVP award in 2009 & 2010. James was not able to secure a title with Cleveland and departed the city in 2010 as"a "free agent" in 2010. The decision was announced by the television show The Decision.
