LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American professional basketball player that is a player with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. King James is widely regarded as one of basketball's greatest players. He's often in comparison to Michael Jordan when discussing the most well-known basketball player. James has been the recipient of four NBA Championships and four NBA MVP Awards and the four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He has also won the distinction of having two Olympic Gold medals. James scored more points during the playoffs, has had the second most points in his career and ranks seventh among career assists. In addition to being an NBA All-Star, James was chosen as a member of an NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. Ten NBA Finals is the most ever. He has also won eight times consecutively between the years 2011-2018. In 2018 he was also selected for The NBA 75th Anniversary team. In 2021, James was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022, he became the very first player to ever in NBA history to accumulate at least 10,000 career points rebounds and assists. James played basketball for St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio, where he grew up. Media across the country portrayed James as a possible NBA star. In 2003 it was the year that his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers took him first during the NBA draft as a pro-to-prep. He was named the NBA rookie of the year in 2004. He soon became one of the premier athletes of the NBA, winning both the NBA MVP Award twice in 2009 and 2010. James did not win a title with Cleveland and departed the city as"a "free agent" in the year 2010. The decision was announced in the TV special The Decision.
