Christopher-Meloni

Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor is best known for his character on the tv show Law & Order Special Victims Unit. Since his college days Meloni became interested in acting. Then he studied at The University of Colorado at Boulder. He was also active in TV and film and on stage, his appearances on small screens are what brought him much popularity. This is not surprising since his characters have been able to capture audiences' attention by playing characters who are on either side of the legal system. He played the serial killer role in the first TV show he appeared in and later played the role of an NYPD detective. In recognition of his performance on tiny screens, he has received many nominations for highly coveted Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards. Eyes that are piercing blue on his face are considered as the most captivating aspect of his appearance. The eyes have been employed for portraying rough characters, and give them charisma. People's magazine's 2006 list for Sexiest Men Alive included him.
