Anamaria Marina is a Romanian actress. Her debut on screen was Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 movie for which she won the British Academy Television Award as the best actress. Speaks French, German, English as well as Romanian proficiently. Her father was an actor and her mother was a violinist. The Mangalia Gala, which is a celebration of Young Actors, she won the Best Female Actor Award 2000. In 2008, the European Film Promotion Board named her an European Shooting Star in 2008. This film received a number of accolades including the European Film Award Best Actress by The London Film Critics. She starred as an actor from Romania in Romanian actor in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 months 3 weeks and two days (four months three weeks and two three weeks and two days) that was awarded with the Palme d'Or and other prizes at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Also, she was as a character in the Francis Ford Coppola film Youth Without Youth. In 2008 she played Yasim anwar in BBC Mini-Series The Last Enemy. Marinca was a part of the Romanian drama Boogie and in Oliver Hirschbiegel's critically popular Five Minutes of Heaven. Later she as Irma's German aunt in Fury, which was released in 2014.
