Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American performer and actress. Her birthplace and childhood was in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier) who is Nurse, and Tom Bell, a television news director. She was born in the town of Huntington Woods, Michigan, to a Polish mother and father who was German, English Irish, Scottish and Irish. Kristen was already a talented entertainer in the early stages. In 1992, she went to her very first audition. She got an appearance on Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell aged 13 at the time her mother enrolled as an agent was also cast in advertisements for newspapers and television. At this time, she also began private acting lessons. Bell played an uncredited part of Polish Wedding (1998), the film that was released in 1998. Bell was a member of the drama and music club of Shrine Catholic High School. She won the starring role of Dorothy in her high school's performance of The Wizard of Oz. Bell attended New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre upon graduation. Bell was a graduate in 2001, resigned her college studies in order to take on the role Becky in Tom Sawyer. She made her first film credit in Pootie Tang at the beginning of 2001. The scene however, was trimmed and now her only appearance is in the final credits. Bell appeared alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson as well as in the Broadway production of The Crucible in 2002.
