Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass is a Greek-American musician who is a founding of the heavy metal band Motley Crue. Lee Bass is also the long-term band drummer, and co-founded Methods of Mayhem, an hip-hop group. Lee has also been involved in various solo musical projects. Lee believes in PETA as well as animal rights. In 2010 Lee wrote a letter to Terry Prather, the president of SeaWorld, protesting the treatment given to Tilikum the orca. Lee felt that the animal ought to be freed and stated that SeaWorld would not comply since Tilikum is their primary source of the sperm. Lee expressed his displeasure with SeaWorld's incompetence and strange methods to obtain Tilikum fertile. Lee stated that he was hoping to avoid further tragedies of trainers dying, since the causes of these deaths were the whales' dislike of the confinement.
